Maybe that wasn't out of order... Maybe I should reread my posts so I know what is going on or went on in my life...
Unfortunately the prince had forgotten that at least once in every phone conversation for the past two months, he had told the princess that they were just friends. Consequently the princess was a little sceptical of his "declaration" of I think love... The visit ended too soon, the prince had to leave, and the princess had to get back to life. The phone calls, texts, and emails continued and the prince was not impressed with the long distance relationship (well e never called it a relatioship just a friendship...)and one day while playing halo the prince had a break down and I quote, "This just isn't going to work anymore..... We either have to get married, break up or just be friends and I Know what I want." The confused princess asked, "Do I have to decide right now?" "Oh no you can tell me later..." Well the princess dis not take his proposal lightly. After a day of serious thought (and petal plucking- he loves me, he loves me not, he loves me, he loves me not...) she came up with an answer. She caled the prince back and after asking some serious soul searching questions told him that she had made a decsion "Yea I will marry you!" she said. He was so shocked that he turned off Halo and began to focus on the princess, but it was too late by then ane he was stuck with the princess! Later the prince called to speak with the king and sadly the queen (who had strep throat) answered. The nervous prince mistook the queen for the king for and consequently had to tell her why he was calling.... He called back later and got the king. After a phone call that lasted approximately one minute and fourty six seconds the prince called the princess and she set off to find a dress... More to come in another eight or so months!

Ooo la la
Well to continue... after the Prince left the princess she sadly realized that this was probably the last time she would see the prince. She realized that she had wasted her chance for a summer fling! All she got was time spent with a charming prince and nothing to show for it... Nothing except some apple sauce covered fireflies, a barbequed hamburger, scraped knees, and goose poop covered shoes!
She was flying out of St. Louis at 4:00 A.M. and decided to spend time with some friends. They went to Olive Garden and talked and giggled and gossiped. The princess told them all about the prince, but denied that she liked him. Her friends knowing her well did not believe her for a second. The princess thought about the prince the whole flight back to the land of the sun (Las Vegas)and decided that since she lived so far from the prince she would not think about him anymore. That was tough since he started texting her the minute she left and wouldn't stop! Okay, okay... So she liked it... a little.
Well time goes by and the princess adjusted back into her normal routine of teaching school, going to singles activities, and being one of the most popular princesses in all the land. The Nevada Princes all wanted to date her, but she was beginning to suspect that she had left her heart in Illinois.
The prince decided that he had had enough of just texting and calling the princess, he wanted to see her again. The perfect opportunity presented itself and the prince hopped a plane to spend the princess's birthday with her. Shortly before he arrived, the princess got nervous and decided she no longer wanted to even be friends with the prince. She would tell him after the weekend.
The princess took a personal day from work to spend more time with the prince... She was so nervous she had to drive around the airport twice because she missed the parking garage.
As the prince came toward her in the baggage claim area, the princess knew that she did want to be his "friend" still and that she would not break his heart this time. They grabbed his bag and proceeded to take a tour of all the wedding chapels on the strip... Just kidding, but they did walk around and talk.
Soon they headed to Alamo to hike and spend time with her family. After eating with the queen, king, and another princess, they went for a moonlight walk down a lonely road. That seemed to be a habit with these two, but this time there were no fireflies. The prince had a birthday surprise for the princess. They walked back to the car and he pulled out a book. It was called "A Fireflies First Flight", but the clever prince had rewritten the book "A Couples First Kiss". It was so sweet and clever that the princess's heart melted. After reading the book they shared a moonlight dance.
The next day the prince and princess took a drive to St. George to visit the sister of the prince. After a period of silence the prince stuttered, "What would you say if I said I think that I am falling in love with you?" The princess was so shocked all she could say (after a two minute pause) was "What if I said the same?" Awkward silence reigned until the prince broke it with unimportant chit chat. To be continued...

Will the Princes Give In? I think not...
The Prince had no idea that his charm and love potion were wasted on the princess with the heart of stone. Her friend (who shall remain mostly anonymous, but her initials are C.B.) convinced the princess to have a "summer fling". Since the Prince lived in Illinois and the Princess lived in a kingdom far, far away she figured the Prince was the perfect victim.... I mean she liked the prince, he was handsome, seemed smart, and funny, also his cooking hadn't killed her and she had actually liked it... a little. After dinner the prince and princess watched a movie and cudddled. After the movie was over they were tslking confortably when the prince leaned in and tried to steal a kiss! The outraged princess did not kiss back, so the prince tried again. Nope! Sucka! Finally the prince told the princess" you can kiss back you know." She took pitty on him and the third time was the charm. After talking (yes I said and meant talking) the prince took the princess back to Walmart... He asked if she would like to hang out with him again. Since what they had done so far did not have much flinginess to it, the princess said okay. The next night was the night that they... You guessed it, climbed trees and chased geese in the park. After these exciting adventures, they were laying on the grass looking for stars and talking (yes they did a lot of talking). Suddenly the princess realized that she had to go to the bathroom... Since there was no bathroom at the park, they went back to his aparment. After more talking and a few kisses the princess had to go home. It was late and she was tired and ver sad to have to leave the prince. Niether the prince nor the princess knew of they would see each other again and both were pretty sad. The Princess kept telling herself that it was okay because prince's have cooties, but she just couldn't quite convince herself... How does it end you ask.... That is for another time, hopefully next week and not in three months.
